“As for what was sown on good soil, this is the one who hears the word and understands it. He indeed bears fruit and yields, in one case a hundredfold, in another sixty, and in another thirty. The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field” —Matthew 13:23-24

If we are the ones who hear the word and understand it, we are the ones who can scatter the seeds of hope; we can tell people, unashamedly, that we are Christians, and tell them what that means. The Good News of Jesus is the seed of hope! By scattering that seed, we are doing God’s will. What, then, is the fruit that we will bear for doing that? In sowing good seed, we potentially are leading people to Christ, in whom all hope lies for mankind. And, of course, in doing God’s will, we will realize our greatest treasure when we face Christ and He says, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
