Homecoming Sunday turned out to be one of the best. The sanctuary was filled with worshipers, the chancel choir and the Jericho Ringers provided beautiful music, in the sermon Rev. Watson related Bethany’s interesting history, the women of the church who made a quilt like the one made 100 years ago dedicated the just-completed one that’s on display in the fellowship hall, the weather was perfect for our homecoming dinner, the food was plentiful and delicious, and all found good fellowship. The event was both enjoyable and uplifting.
