HAL GORDON CELEBRATED HIS 90TH BIRTHDAY DECEMBER 27

Several Bethany members visited Hal Gordon Tuesday to celebrate his 90th birthday. Susan Bissette organized the party and brought a birthday cake, coffee and other desserts. She researched the year 1926 and printed pages of historical facts pertaining to Hal’s birth year, which she passed out to those in attendance to read. As it turns out, 1926 was a momentous year!

After serenading Hal with a lively rendition of “Happy Birthday,” the 1926 historical facts were recited followed by all enjoying the birthday goodies. Before the party broke up, Rev. Osgood said a prayer for Hal and for those traveling back to their homes.

All had a good time, and stand ready to celebrate Hal’s 91st birthday next December!

Our webmasters, Nora Harris and Chris Mounsey, restored functionality to bethanyarapahoe.org 12 December. We currently are in the process of assessing how we will affect changes that will make the site more responsive and provide a better experience to our church family and our community.

If you have missed the site, look for it online now and follow it as we improve it in 2017.
