Last summer’s successful Bible Quest Sunday School program is back for this summer, and began June 1. View the Bible Quest Poster.
The program uses a variety of hands-on learning experiences for youth to learn God’s word, and activities are designed toward worship.
A new feature this year is that Bethany’s Bus Ministry will pick up any child who wants to attend Bible Quest but doesn’t have transportation. The purpose of the Bus Ministry is to reach children with the gospel of Jesus Christ and train them to serve God with their lives. But the Bus Ministry, in addition to providing children with transportation, also gladly will pick up adults who want to attend Sunday School or worship services.
Those who would like transportation
may call 249-0266 and leave a message for the Bus Ministry with name, address and phone number, and number of children or adults who need transportation.

Beginning Sunday, June 8, Sunday School will begin at 9:30 A.M. and conclude at 10:25 A.M.
At 10:30, all will gather in the Fellowship Hall where we first will have Sunday School Assembly. Following the assembly, we will have fellowship, coffee, tea and snacks, and greet and welcome visitors. Worship service still will start at 11:00 A.M.
This change in schedule will last from June 8 through August 31. The Implementation Team recommended this trial in response to suggestions from the prayer triads and to changes recommended in the Future Story that was adopted last November. The general board approved the recommendation June 1.
Part of the rationale for the change is that it will provide time before the worship service for the whole congregation to meet visitors, welcome them, and talk to them, as well as have fellowship with each other, and it will provide more time for Sunday School lessons.
