An innovative summer Sunday School format for the youth began last Sunday. According to Sunday School Superintendent Melissa Watson, “In order to attract more young people to Sunday School, and because there are many styles of learning, a rotating “workshop” approach will be utilized. Bible lessons will be presented in each of four models: art, science, culinary or song.”
Bethany honored four high school graduates and an eighth-grade graduate Sunday during the worship service. Honored were high-school graduates Mark Aaron, Michaela Cahoon, Parker Lee, and Avery Schmidt. They received scholarships from the Bethany scholarship fund as well. Also honored was eighth-grade graduate Erica Morris.
