One Voice Re-visits Bethany

Pamlico County’s One Voice Youth Choir returned to Bethany to deliver its message through song about the love of Jesus Christ , Sunday, June 29. One Voice performed on June 24, 2007, the last service held in the old Bethany sanctuary before the fire destroyed the building the next day. From the pulpit, Merritt Watson remarked that it was a blessing to have them share with Bethany a year later in the same week a new foundation for a new sanctuary was laid.

The Joy Stick – Exactly One Year Later

Exactly one year ago, June 25, 2007, this church member/photographer stood directly behind a New Bern fireman as he operated a joy stick directing a thousand gallons of water per minute onto the flames of Bethany Christian Church. On a foggy June 25, 2008, this photographer stood right beside Pete Etheridge from Greenville, NC as he directed tons of concrete down onto the new foundation for Bethany Christian Church. The Lord doth provide.
